How cool is this? When my dad had a major back surgery a few years back, his coworker bought him this Islamic Amulet from Turkey as a good luck charm. The eyes are supposed to ward off the evil eye (similar to the Jewish Hamsa). At my next visit I will hang it up with his other good luck tokens and religious items.
Thanks for your prayers, wishes, and words of love!
Gayle

Mi shebeirach - A prayer for healing (Hebrew)
Mi shebeirach Avoteinu m'kor ha-bracha L'imoteinu.
May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say, Amein.
Mi shebeirach imoteinu m'kor ha-bracha l'avoteinu.
Bless those in need of healing with refuah shleimah, the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say, Amein.
