Mi shebeirach - A prayer for healing (Hebrew)

Mi shebeirach Avoteinu m'kor ha-bracha L'imoteinu.
May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say, Amein.

Mi shebeirach imoteinu m'kor ha-bracha l'avoteinu.
Bless those in need of healing with refuah shleimah, the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say, Amein.

Today I left work for a bit and visited the hospital with my brother (Todd) and his girlfriend (Kiyomi).  It was her first time visiting and she brought him a special token for good luck to hang in his room.  Kiyomi's mom is going to give the Sigman family a special Buddhist mirror to hang on the door of their home which keeps the good karma in and the bad karma out.  A nice token of the Ueki family’s love (which is appreciated).

William was a little under the weather today, probably sore from surgery and from being sedated.  He tried to communicate with us, but we are the worst at reading lips, so he wasn’t impressed with our lack of skill.  Each day is a new day and we are always sure to share his progression success with him. Fingers crossed that he’ll be out of the rotating bed and into a regular one soon.

All my love,
Gayle
