Mi shebeirach - A prayer for healing (Hebrew)

Mi shebeirach Avoteinu m'kor ha-bracha L'imoteinu.
May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say, Amein.

Mi shebeirach imoteinu m'kor ha-bracha l'avoteinu.
Bless those in need of healing with refuah shleimah, the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say, Amein.

Visits

Will has had a bunch of visitors the past week... Barb, Brian, Nikki, Phil, Sue, Keith, and even Sean.  I heard from Phil that Will's visit with Sean was great and they were both very happy to see each other.  Many more friends are lined up to come visit and he can't wait to see each and every one of you!

Majority of his day he breathes on his own, and he can move his shoulders up and down.  It's very encouraging and Will is determined to keep improving, moving, and healing.

On Monday, we called his Grammy and Will was able to hear her voice.  Luckily my lip reading skills are pretty good these days and I was able to tell her what William responded with.  Grammy and Pop-Pop are going to come to CT (from FL) after Pesach (April 6th) and everyone is very excited!  I mean who isn't excited to see grandparents (especially ones as awesome as his).

Also a special shout out to his cousin Rebecca and uncle Michael for all their great messages, letters, caregrams, and love - all the way from TX!

(sorry auntie, your eyes are closed but you still look stunning!)

  1. Gayle,

While I'm sure I join everyone in saying how much I - we - appreciate this blog, please don't forget to mention Aunt Marilyn. Working in the Neurology field as she does, her efforts in helping obtain information for Brian and Marcia (and for me) has been huge. For those that don't know her, in the photograph above she's sitting just behind Rebecca's left shoulder.
