Mi shebeirach - A prayer for healing (Hebrew)

Mi shebeirach Avoteinu m'kor ha-bracha L'imoteinu.
May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say, Amein.

Mi shebeirach imoteinu m'kor ha-bracha l'avoteinu.
Bless those in need of healing with refuah shleimah, the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say, Amein.

Update

Sorry I haven't updated alot lately on Will's status it has been a very hectic few weeks. Will had a few set backs but has been moving slowly forward. His pneumonia has been the biggest set back which caused them to put back the trach tube (after it was initally removed for about an hour). Will said he doesn't recommend that anyone go through that process as it was very painful.

He is still breathing on his own (no ventilator) but still through the trach tube with Oxygen to make sure he is ok while the pneumonia clears up. Will says it feels like trying to breath through a straw. He continues to struggle with severe neck pain which bothers him when he is doing his exercises but he still pushes hard to do what he has too.  He was able to 'flip' his hands over the other day in a session and has been saying he is sometimes able to move his thumb sporatically which is huge.

He has moved to Lyman building (2nd floor room 204) which is the spinal cord section. His room is not as large or 'snazy' as Milne but it is 'moving' in the right direction. We are hoping as soon as his lungs are completely clear and there is no sign of any pnuemonia they will try to pull out the trach tube again. Maybe this time it will say out for good.

In the meantime Will is still continuing to fight and not just give up and he is working very hard in PT. He does PT twice a day and his PT/OT folks are terrific. I thank God for the strength he is giving Will and us and everyone that comes to see/visit him. Those vists keep his spirits up.

We have been taking him out in his wheel chair for walks around Gaylord which is beautiful. It helps Will alot to get outside and see the sky/sun and breath the fresh air.

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Keep praying! We have alot of drama, daily phone calls, forms to fill out over and over again and with all the red tape/insurance nonsense and there are days I just want to scream but at least Will is still here with us. Will hasn't given up so neither will Brian and I.  Onward and may the force be with us.

Love,
Marcia
