Mi shebeirach - A prayer for healing (Hebrew)

Mi shebeirach Avoteinu m'kor ha-bracha L'imoteinu.
May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say, Amein.

Mi shebeirach imoteinu m'kor ha-bracha l'avoteinu.
Bless those in need of healing with refuah shleimah, the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say, Amein.

Farewell Gaylord and Thank You!

Today begins the next chapter in this journey. Insurance has deemed that William no longer requires the level of medical care provided at Gaylord so today he is leaving for Chelsea Place on Lorraine Street in Hartford. It is near the Mark Twain house. We want to thank the dedicated staff at Gaylord for all they have done for William. He arrived there on Good Friday, unable to breathe on his own,  fed through a feeding tube in his stomach and with no movement below his neck. Today, he leaves there able to breathe completely on his own, eating full meals (and lots of snacks), with full movement of his shoulders and working on muscle groups in his upper arms. We had hoped he could have stayed at Gaylord until his room addition at home was completed (hopefully in mid-September), but not all wishes come true so we learn to take what comes and be grateful for what has been. Farewell Gaylord! We will miss you.
