Will is thankfully doing well and other than wanting to get out more he is doing great. He got fitted for his standing frame and we are just waiting for them to deliver it. We can't wait to start working with Will to build up his tolerance/strength with the goal of slowly getting him in it and standing upright for an hour a day! I told him I will wheel him around the house in it so he can be 'standing' instead of sitting in his wheel chair for a change. I am sure he will push himself hard like he always does and make the hour daily goal in no time!
Will has such a great outlook and his sense of humor is still strong. On the way back from OT at Gaylord he said out of the blue..."hey I am not crippled I am 'motionally' challenged". We got a good laugh out of that 'Will-ism'! Wishing everyone a safe winter hibernation. Stay warm!
PS- Vader is Will's wheel chair buddy and loves to sit/sleep on Will's lap while he is in his chair. Great place to stay cosy and warm! Attaching picture from today of one of Vader's nap!
