Mi shebeirach - A prayer for healing (Hebrew)
Mi shebeirach Avoteinu m'kor ha-bracha L'imoteinu.
May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say, Amein.
Mi shebeirach imoteinu m'kor ha-bracha l'avoteinu.
Bless those in need of healing with refuah shleimah, the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say, Amein.

William's dad posting once again. Today, William's fever was back so he was a bit more subdued and sedated than yesterday. He did manage to watch a Foo Fighters video on You Tube and did smile a bit. He even gave a brief chuckle when I reconnected his Ipod and it came on rather loud while I fumbled with turning down the volume before the entire Intensive Care Nurse Corp came charging in. He was propped up in the bed much higher than previously and it was good to see him upright. We found a nurse who lip reads and she was having conversations with him last night. He wished her a good night (my son the flirt). She came in to help us with some lip reading before her shift ended this morning. William asked for apple juice but didn't say much more due to the sedation. Too soon to give him anything to drink but we know that better days are on the horizon. Keep the prayers coming. This is a bit overwhelming for us all, family and friends alike. His mother and I remain firmly committed to bringing our son home and giving him the best quality of life that is possible with his disability. Pray along with us. Alway remember that we are defined by our abilities, and not by our disabilities. Good night to all.
