  6. Awesome news. It's good to see him sitting up. He looks pretty happy. I'm so glad he's determined to prove the doctors wrong.

  7. Uncle Michael here. I was able to come up to BDL to see Will this week. I must say Will's progress is nothing short of astounding! He not only slammed down that slider pictured above, he scarffed down some pasta thing with salad, soup and some cake mishagoss for dinner. He also pulled 12 hours off the vent the day I was there, and told me he was pushing for 16 hours the next day. The facility and especially the staff at Gaylord is incredible; terrific health care and a very nice place. They have already started ROM (range of motion) procedures and will start full blown rehab once the vent and PEG tubes are yanked. Will looked terrific, yakked up a storm, and Brian and Marcia also looked and sounded good. Got a chance to yak with Danny as well and he's hanging in. I'll email Gail some pix and hopefully she can post them here. Will has a very long road ahead of him but he is a very determined and focused young man. Bring it on, Will! ---Uncle M.
