Mi shebeirach - A prayer for healing (Hebrew)

Mi shebeirach Avoteinu m'kor ha-bracha L'imoteinu.
May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say, Amein.

Mi shebeirach imoteinu m'kor ha-bracha l'avoteinu.
Bless those in need of healing with refuah shleimah, the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say, Amein.

Second surgery done!

Will finally had the surgery to close the wound on the right side on 3/9/15. He was high risk from a pulmonary perspective but thanks to lots of prayers and God's help Will made it through! The wound had some bruising tissue damage under the good skin/tissue which was one reason it just wouldn't heal. There was no infection in the tissue or bone (another miracle)! Unfortunately his left wound that had previously healed, reopened with some new surface damage.....bang head on wall here....since he has to stay in bed off his right side for three weeks not a lot we can do for left other than dressings and keeping it clean. We are hoping we can get the left side to heal up again.

The surgeon said these sores not be happening on the type of bed Will is in. He had been staying in bed with the wound vac on for many months trying to get it to heal. He only got out of bed in his chair to go to doctor appointments which pretty much sucked. We had ad the bed company technician come out to run some diagnostics and low and behold the bed was defective! The part that circulates air to prevent bed sores was shot! That explains a lot of frustrating months of wondering why the wound wouldn't close and why he got pressure sores to begin with. The part is ordered and the bed should be fixed tomorrow. We hope and pray that this will help both sides heal and mean an end to this nightmare!

Wills surgery area looks like a shark bit him in the butt and the staples are painful but Will is hopeful the worse is behind us! Prayers are greatly appreciated and we are hoping for better days ahead.

Love,
Marcia
