Mi shebeirach - A prayer for healing (Hebrew)
Mi shebeirach Avoteinu m'kor ha-bracha L'imoteinu.
May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say, Amein.
Mi shebeirach imoteinu m'kor ha-bracha l'avoteinu.
Bless those in need of healing with refuah shleimah, the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say, Amein.

William has alot to say
Hello everyone, this is Will's dad posting this evening. Will was alert and eager to communicate with us when we arrived today. Unfortunately, with the position of the trach and vent, the air needed for him to speak aloud is being diverted so we had to try to lip read. He did use the communication board I brought for a couple of tries but he was far more interested in mouthing the words to us. We clearly made out the word "guitar" and assured him that his guitars were safe. He also wanted to be sure his coworkers knew of his accident and I let him know that when his boss Ben heard of the accident, he was one of the first people to arrive at the hospital. Our goal today was to assure Will that everything is being taken care of and he seemed very pleased to hear that. We also had a wonderful conversation with one of the leading doctors of spinal cord injury who works at the hospital and also at the Rehab hospital that we anticipate Will is heading to after his stay at Hartford Hosp. The doctor was excellent, explaining everything to us and answering all of our questions. Clearly, there will be more medical challenges to bring Will home if he needs to be on a respirator long term but we let the doctor know that no matter what the situation, we are determined for our son to live with his family and we will learn whatever we need to learn to make it a safe and comfortable home for Will. Thank you so much to everyone who is following along, praying for Will and for supporting us. You mean more to us than we can express.
